Family Home Evening at the Rex's

For our July and August FHE with the Rex's, Pam planned an outing to the park. It was so much fun because we made a home made slip and slide down the hill. Dale and I had a minor disagreement about sending Lincoln down on his own the first time. I said not to but Dale said he was fine. My concern was for him to like it and after going alone he wasn't so found of the idea. Then Dale took him down with him and the smile came out. Mothers know best.

The smiles they have are contagious.
Dale and Lincoln going down the slide.
Pam and Lincoln going down the slide. She is a good grandma to her grandchildren. Whatever they want Grandma will do. Lincoln is so lucky to have great grandparents in his life.
The REX kids. They are so cute.

Amandas Softball games

I am so proud of my baby sister Amanda. She has been playing on a competitive softball league, that my Dad coaches, and then she made the highschool team this past year. She is becoming more beautiful as the days go by, and she is athletic. I just have to say I am so proud to call her my sister. Love you Mandy!

She is great at bunting and she is really fast.
Lincoln is loving the girls on the team. He would act shy and then smile this innocent smile.
Even Bogey is enjoying himself.

"The Host"

Okay, I know I am late on this. But I wanted to let everyone know that I did enjoy, The Host. I think she is such a good writer and hope she writes books forever. I have read another really good book in my book club as well. It's a non stop thinking and feeling different emotions kind of book (Don't you love the way I describe books). It's called my, My Sisters Keeper. They are making a movie out of it too. Let me know if you have read it and tell me what you think.
